If you're thinking of entering the exciting world of dog agility, there is a lot to consider! It's not all about Fast and Furious - in fact, it's the opposite! Like any human sport, a level of skill, precision and focus is required to be able to succeed. Dogs are no different in this respect. Our 5 week Agility Foundations course takes handlers and dogs through a series of handling, shaping, targeting, proprieception, and perchwork exercises, to prep dogs (and humans) for the the world of Agility. We take the learning at the pace of the dog, and we use reward systems as encouragement. Our school is for family dogs and fun. We are not a school that enters into the world of competitive agility. Dogs must be: 1. Comfortable with people and dogs in their environment 2. Over 7 months 3. Able to recall to their handler Small groups and a carpeted indoor barn make for a great winter set up! We also have access to a grass paddock. Cost includes one of our popular Fleece Tuggy Toys (RRP £15) Please note that females unfortunately cannot attend if they come into season.
